Quotes of The Day #50 - Final Fantasy XIII -- Hope Estheim

"Sometimes everything you know in the world turns out to be a lie. But at the end of the day the lie isn't what matters, it's what you do after you tell it. If you work hard enough you can make it true."

Quotes of The Day #47 - Final Fantasy VIII -- Squall Leonheart

"Right and wrong are not what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just two sides holding different views."

Quotes of The Day #43 - Halo3 -- Lord Hood

"For us, the storm has passed. The war is over. And let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark, and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure. Sacrifice, an unshakable conviction that their fight, our fight, was elsewhere. As we start to rebuild, this hillside will remain barren, a memorial to heroes fallen. They enabled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten."

Quotes of The Day #40 - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood -- Ling Yao

"A king exists for his people, without subjects rulers cannot exists. That's why, I'm going to be a king that died defending his people rather than cowarding in the back, waiting them all to be gone."

Quotes of The Day #38 - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood -- Roy Mustang #2

"The power of one man doesn't amount to much, But however little strength I'm capable of... I'll do everything humanly possible to protect the people I love, And in turn they'll protect the ones they love. It seems like the least we tiny humans can do for each other."

This is Eric, in his element, 30' off the ground. He does most of the artwork by himself and researches, paints and designs each project from scratch. His wife Kathy, also an artist, serves as project manager.

Naruto Shippuden - Dreamers Fight, Amazing Fan Made Live Action Movie!

While surfing the net these couple of days, we found something that has caught our attention for quite sometime. Believe it or not, it's a short movie based on the ever popular manga (Japanese comic), Naruto. By short movie here, we mean a live action movie using real person as the actor instead of animated movie. Even if it's real, the jutsus (techniques) that exist in the manga where shown in real here with help from awesome 3D effects, for instance Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique), Konoha Senpuu (Leaf Whirwind), and the renowned Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere Jutsu). Not to mention the effects when Lee opened The Third Gate.

The effects are just as awesome as it is in anime and manga. The movie quality is excellent too. It really brings the feeling of action. It is truly  a masterpiece in its own class. We even thought that this is better than some Hollywood movie. These gem is created by ThousandPoundsActionCompany. You can visit their site here

Enough talking, no words is stronger than seeing it with your own eyes. Enjoy this cool movie!

Those two sets of dreams weave together in a double helix! Drilling a path towards tomorrow! And that's Tengen Toppa! That's Gurren Lagann!! My drill...IS THE DRILL THAT CREATES THE HEAVENS!!"

Quotes of The Day #30 - Steamboy - Edward Steam

"Science is not an occult enterprise like alchemy. It’s not for nobles and royals in their palaces, nor for monks in their cathedrals. Science is neither faith nor sorcery, it is provable fact that can transfigure and transform us at our very core! All the suffering of humanity, the ages of misery and darkness, science can change that. But what use is it if we don’t bring its power to everyone? Mankind everywhere is in desperate need… they are waiting for the blessings of science!!"

Revenge and Murder - Assassin's Creed II

"Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."
--Assassins Creed --

Have you ever feel tired of playing games in good paths? Do you want to know what it feels like to be a wanted man known for his bad deeds in the eyes of society? then this is the game for you. As a game developer known for its great quality games such as Prince of Persia series, Ubisoft launchs the second entry in renowned action puzzle game, Assassin's Creed II.

Assassin's Creed has become a notable example of great action game, and has experienced enormous popularity since it's first launch in May 2008. The game centers on the use of a machine named the "Animus", which allows the viewing of the protagonist's genetic memories of his ancestors. Through this plot device, details emerge of a struggle between two factions, the Knights Templar and the Assassins, over an artifact known as a "Piece of Eden".

Assassin's Creed II, continued the struggle between Assassins and Templars through the eyes of new assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Different from the first entry which takes place in Holy Land Jerusalem during the Third Crusade War in 1191, this time the story takes place in Italy. The events happened during the Renaissance in 15th century. Ezio is a 17 year-old boy who has a knack for getting in trouble, the son of prosperous Florentine banker and undercover assassin Giovanni Auditore. He learns the ways of the Assassin after his family is betrayed and his father and brothers are hanged for false treason and thus seeks vengeance.

The search for the persons responsible for his families' deaths brings him across many historical places in Italy such as Monterioggini, Fiorentine, not to forget a small part of Rome. Unfortunately, you don't get to explore much of Rome since the mission required you to reach the destined place as fast as you can without wandering. As the original Assasins Creed game, this entry focuses on open world sandbox-style game where Ezio can roam freely in cities. Blending among citizens to avoid being caught by enemy guards, taking care of enemies using stealth tactics or just fighting directly, or exploring ruins and historical landmarks for getting treasures.

New from the last entry is Ezio's ability to use two hidden blades instead of one. As a genius, Leonardo da Vinci (yes, you know him.....it's THE Leonardo DA VINCI!), has created and modified Ezio's assassin weapon arsenal which can be obtained through various hidden codex, written by Altair Ibn-Lahad for his descendants. List of weapons available to use including dual hidden blades, poison blade and the miniature wheellock firearm, which are all based on schematics found in Altair's Codex pages. Generic swords, cutlasses, maces, axes and daggers can all be purchased from vendors in each city or otherwise looted from corpses (some items, such as spears and brooms, cannot be acquired from vendors). In addition, players are able to purchase artwork for their villa, obtain new armor as the game progresses, and even dye Ezio's clothing with a number of different colors. Other equipment includes larger pouches to carry more throwing knives and medicine.

Within the game, Ezio will be able to use Leonardo's flying machine(based on real-life plans by Leonardo) during one mission. The player also has the ability to control a carriage in one level, and can row gondolas, as well as ride horses at any point in the game where they are readily available between towns and cities. Additionally, the player can hire different groups of NPCs , such as mercenaries, courtesans, or thieves (these groups can be used to fight, distract, or lure guards, respectively). A day and night cycle has been added to the game, giving the game more of a sense of time, in addition to setting missions and events at certain times of the day.

Well, that's all there is in the new entry of one of the most popular action-puzzle game ever. If you want to know more, just sit back and enjoy playing the game yourself. HAPPY GAMING!!

Burn The City : BurnOut 3

As its succession on the sports game, Electronic Arts published its new game on BurnOut series that turned out to be the third series of the BurnOut, named BurnOut 3 : Takedown. The game that was developed by the Criterion Game was released on September 7, 2004.

BurnOut 3 : Takedown or BurnOut 3 provides you with its highly improved graphic, new track environment and its real-world landmark, slow-mo action and also new competition of car crashing. The speciality of this game of course is the destruction of car crashing. Not only you can take down your enemy in the race competition, but you can also take down many cars in cities across the three continents on Car Crashing Mode.

In the Crash Mode, the player is not racing opponents on a track. Instead in each crash attempt, the player races at high speeds toward an intersection and tries to do as much monetary damage to vehicles there as possible while collecting cash, car explotion, and multiplayer bonuses.

On every competition and every challenge that you have done in either the three continent, you will be awarded by a medal for achieving some target limit, such as gold medal, silver medal, and bronze medal. If you can get bronze or silver medal, you can get new event on the Crash Nav.

As with other release in BurnOut franchise, this game will surely challenge you in adrenaline rush race like no other. Crashing your opponents cars is not an option......IT'S A MUST!!!.

So...ARE YOU READY!??
