Revenge and Murder - Assassin's Creed II

"Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."
--Assassins Creed --

Have you ever feel tired of playing games in good paths? Do you want to know what it feels like to be a wanted man known for his bad deeds in the eyes of society? then this is the game for you. As a game developer known for its great quality games such as Prince of Persia series, Ubisoft launchs the second entry in renowned action puzzle game, Assassin's Creed II.

Assassin's Creed has become a notable example of great action game, and has experienced enormous popularity since it's first launch in May 2008. The game centers on the use of a machine named the "Animus", which allows the viewing of the protagonist's genetic memories of his ancestors. Through this plot device, details emerge of a struggle between two factions, the Knights Templar and the Assassins, over an artifact known as a "Piece of Eden".

Assassin's Creed II, continued the struggle between Assassins and Templars through the eyes of new assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Different from the first entry which takes place in Holy Land Jerusalem during the Third Crusade War in 1191, this time the story takes place in Italy. The events happened during the Renaissance in 15th century. Ezio is a 17 year-old boy who has a knack for getting in trouble, the son of prosperous Florentine banker and undercover assassin Giovanni Auditore. He learns the ways of the Assassin after his family is betrayed and his father and brothers are hanged for false treason and thus seeks vengeance.

The search for the persons responsible for his families' deaths brings him across many historical places in Italy such as Monterioggini, Fiorentine, not to forget a small part of Rome. Unfortunately, you don't get to explore much of Rome since the mission required you to reach the destined place as fast as you can without wandering. As the original Assasins Creed game, this entry focuses on open world sandbox-style game where Ezio can roam freely in cities. Blending among citizens to avoid being caught by enemy guards, taking care of enemies using stealth tactics or just fighting directly, or exploring ruins and historical landmarks for getting treasures.

New from the last entry is Ezio's ability to use two hidden blades instead of one. As a genius, Leonardo da Vinci (yes, you know him.....it's THE Leonardo DA VINCI!), has created and modified Ezio's assassin weapon arsenal which can be obtained through various hidden codex, written by Altair Ibn-Lahad for his descendants. List of weapons available to use including dual hidden blades, poison blade and the miniature wheellock firearm, which are all based on schematics found in Altair's Codex pages. Generic swords, cutlasses, maces, axes and daggers can all be purchased from vendors in each city or otherwise looted from corpses (some items, such as spears and brooms, cannot be acquired from vendors). In addition, players are able to purchase artwork for their villa, obtain new armor as the game progresses, and even dye Ezio's clothing with a number of different colors. Other equipment includes larger pouches to carry more throwing knives and medicine.

Within the game, Ezio will be able to use Leonardo's flying machine(based on real-life plans by Leonardo) during one mission. The player also has the ability to control a carriage in one level, and can row gondolas, as well as ride horses at any point in the game where they are readily available between towns and cities. Additionally, the player can hire different groups of NPCs , such as mercenaries, courtesans, or thieves (these groups can be used to fight, distract, or lure guards, respectively). A day and night cycle has been added to the game, giving the game more of a sense of time, in addition to setting missions and events at certain times of the day.

Well, that's all there is in the new entry of one of the most popular action-puzzle game ever. If you want to know more, just sit back and enjoy playing the game yourself. HAPPY GAMING!!

HRP-4C "Brings Anime Into Real Life Technology"

Nowadays, human-like robot is not just an imagination or its above your wildest dream where you can't reach it out. If you do think like that, why don't you meet HRP-4C, the beautiful and cute robots that ever made by human? Only Japan come up with a bot beauty ready to walk the catwalk. while America made so much battle robots to improve the defensive of many countries, Japan puts the tech to better use with helpful robots. Judging by the latest, the HRP-4C fashion robot, they're doing it right.

The HRP-4C is the girlie-faced humanoid robot (Android) with slightly oversized eyes, a tiny nose, and a shoulder length hair do boasts 30 motion motorson her body and 8 motors on her face that had been programmed to mimic the movements of flash-and-blood fashion model.
She was created by "Japanese National institute of Advance Industrial Science and Technology" and publicy demonstrated on March 16th , 2009. It is 158cm (5 feet 2 inches) tall and weighs 43 kg (95 pounds) including battery. Her shape and joints are based on the 1997-1998 Japanese body dimension database.
She is categorized as the multidimensional robot that can sing, dance, and give some emotional looks from its facial emotional and facial recognition. It is obvious that it used as the fashion robot for it's cute face and for its human-like movement of its face and body. But, the problem is, her debute wasn't the smoothest, as she kept looking surprised and stunned as the camera clicked away, confusing her sound sensors. On the plus side, isn't that cool? It means that the sensors of her body works on the way they have to be, allowing her to Wow the crowds with expression of simple expression emotions like anger and surprise.

Maybe you would ask 'why she isn't made with the face resemble as the real human's face?' Well, her creator have the answer for you, the Japanese National institute of Advance Industrial Science and Technology went for the manga appearance because 'If we had made the robot too similar to a real human, it would have been uncanny.' The other reason is that she used to be a fashion robot, but not only perform the ordinary fashion like the other catwalkers do. She was made to perform more than just that, more likely as the cosplayer which can compete with human cosplay, like Hatsune Miku anime wedding gown.

Defend of the Ancients: The Best Online Gamer Choice of WC 3 TFT

In the beginning, Eul created Dota.
Then we played TFT DotA.
We saw DotA Darkness Falls.
DotA Allstars was born.
Guinsoo made his own Allstars version.

What is DOTA?

Defense of the Ancients is unique game, starting life as a mod created within another game (Warcraft 3) through the custom map building tools. The “Use Map Settings” style of maps were once considered an afterthought or something to do for fun after playing ladder games of Warcraft 3, but now it's quite the opposite: many pick up their copy of The Frozen Throne simply to enjoy DOTA. DOTA has been a constantly evolving game experience, the early forms virtually unrecognizable in comparison to our current version, 6.61.

DOTA is one of the most popular forerunners of the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre, which can be loosely summarized as a game that includes control of a single hero in an RPG fashion, thrust into a PvP-centric battleground with other heroes. Heroes level up, get items and gear, fight both players and NPC's, but it's all said and done within the span of roughly an hour – and every game starts back at level 1.

Graphics and Sound
Rating Below Average
The Frozen Throne launched in 2003 – leaving the graphics and audio to work with dated. Trapped within the confines of the Warcraft 3 engine, the game has not aged well graphically. On the plus side, you'll be able to play it on pretty much any rig that runs.

Replay Value
Rating Excellent
No game of DOTA is ever quite the same. With around literally one-hundred heroes to play, no game is ever the same and the time commitment needed to play a round is just perfect.

Learning Curve
Rating Below Average
You are going to have to put in around 50 games before you've got the hang of things, and you will definitely be frustrated at the beginning of your DOTA career – there's so many things to learn about items and heroes that much of your time will be spent sitting in town trying to figure out how to make different things. Looking around on forums for DOTA guides and playing with some seasoned friends is highly recommended. Is it worth it? Yes, absolutely.

Community
Rating Below Average
Well there's a few ways you can play DOTA - probably the most satisfying is with a group of your friends - this will eliminate any of the “bad element” that DOTA has been noted for in recent years. Or you could try league play, once you get the hang of things. But if you're rolling around in public games, or “pubs”, you are going to be matched with 12 year old kids whose vocabulary could make a sailor blush, and as soon as you finally get that first kill you've been working so hard for, one of them will leave the game and ruin it for everyone. “Leavers” as they are known as are incredibly common in public games, as there is no accountability for their actions. Stick to playing with your friends or join a league and you can avoid the pitfalls of the DOTA public community.

Innovation
Rating Excellent
DOTA was certainly not the first MOBA, but it's definitely the one that put them on the gaming map and brought the genre into the mainstream. If you've never played one before, it's definitely something that needs to be done. Combining many successful aspects from several varieties of games, MOBAS are a incredible blend of character building and development, team strategy, and player vs player in a fast paced environment.

Overall Score
Rating Good
If you can get past the dated graphics, the steep learning curve, and the sometimes loathsome community, you are in for a smashing good time in an ever-changing universe that is addictive, fun, and challenging.

Illidian Stormrage one of the hero in DotA whis has adapted from Warcraft 3.
